How long does each performance last?

Each performance lasts about three hours.

What rodeo events take place during the Silver Spurs Rodeo?

During each Silver Spurs Rodeo performance, you’ll be able to see all seven traditional rodeo events: bull riding, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, tie down roping, and barrel racing.

What is the order of events during the rodeo?

Each performance of the February Silver Spurs Rodeo will start with bareback riding and then be followed by steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, team roping, barrel racing, and then will finish with bull riding. During our June Silver Spurs Rodeo performance, the rodeo schedule will be the same as mentioned above, with the inclusion of junior bull riding before bareback riding and junior barrel racing after our adult barrel racing competition.

What rodeo events take place during Boots, Bulls and Barrels?

During our Boots, Bulls and Barrels performance, you’ll be able to enjoy a night full of bull riding and barrel racing.

What time do doors open?

Doors will open an hour before each rodeo performance time. For example, if the Silver Spurs Rodeo is set to begin at 7:30pm then doors will open at 6:30pm. However, if there is extreme weather taking place before the doors are set to open, the doors will be opened early to ensure attendees’ safety.

Are there assigned seats?

No, all seats are general admission. We suggest arriving early to make sure you’re able to pick out your ideal seats.

Is the arena handicap accessible?

Yes, we have ramps for wheel chairs and scooters along with elevators that can take you to the upper-level seats.

Are the handicap seats assigned?

No, they are first-come first-serve with signs and ushers that will help guide you to your seats.

Is the arena indoors or outdoors?

The Silver Spurs Arena is an indoor climate-controlled environment.

Do you have food at the rodeo?

Yes, we have concession stands that sell hamburgers, hot dogs, pretzels, and other event food. Beer is also available for sale during Friday and Saturday only.

Is there a charge for parking?

There is no cost for parking.

What time does the Box Office open?

The Box office is open from 10am – 4pm Monday –Friday. On event days the box office is open from 10am – 8:30pm.

If I purchased my Silver Spurs Rodeo tickets via Groupon, how can I redeem them?

If you have purchased your ticket through Groupon, please print out your voucher from Groupon. During the day of the performance, please visit our box office to redeem and collect your physical ticket that will allow you to enter the arena. If you have other Groupon questions please call Groupon directly.

When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets go on sale a month before the rodeo. When you purchase your tickets through our website, you’ll be able to print the tickets from your computer. Before you leave your house, make sure that bring them with you as that is what you’ll use to get at the front door. We require that all attendees have a ticket to enter the arena, including children. If your child is 10 and under, you’ll need to visit our box office to collect a free, child ticket that will be scanned when you enter.

Can I add tickets to my group the day of the show and still get the discount?

Unfortunately, we will be unable to honor the price and add tickets to your group during the day of the performance. As group sale tickets have to be purchased in advance to get the discount, we encourage attendees to plan ahead and get a final count early.

Will the rodeo sell out?

We always encourage guests to buy their tickets in advance since all showings have the capability to sell out. We can never guarantee that there will be tickets available prior to a show so please plan ahead.
