“This pageant has been part of our tradition for 65 years now,” added Randy Booth, Big Boss of the Silver Spurs Rodeo. “It’s an honor to watch it continue to grow while preserving the values and traditions that built this club from the ground up.”
While many competitions require extensive preparation, the Miss Silver Spurs Pageant stands apart thanks to its emphasis on horsemanship. Contestants not only develop public speaking, media, and interview skills—they also demonstrate their bond with their horse and knowledge of rodeo heritage, which are integral to the judging process.
The newly crowned Miss Silver Spurs Court will represent the Silver Spurs Riding Club throughout the year at community events and statewide rodeos, including the 155th Silver Spurs Rodeo taking place Friday, May 30 and Saturday, May 31 at 7:30 p.m. at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida.
