141st Silver Spurs Rodeo Results and Your Champions

The Silver Spurs Rodeo is one of the most well-known rodeos in Florida, and our summer rodeo just wrapped up. The 141st Silver Spurs Rodeo took place Friday, June 1st and Saturday, June 2nd, and featured rodeo's seven traditional events: bull riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, bareback riding, barrel racing, and team roping. With just over $15,000 in prize money up for grabs, local cowboys and cowgirls (even a few junior competitors) came to compete during this rodeo to claim their share of the prize. Below are the results for the top three winning contestants from each rodeo event.

All-around cowboy: Jason Hanchey, $932, tie-down roping and team ropingBull riding:No qualified rides.

Steer wrestling:1. Jake Hoffman, 4.0 seconds, $7432. Mose Fleming, 4.3 seconds, $5573. Kamry Dymmek, 4.8 seconds $371

Bareback riding:1. Dustin Smith, 72 points, $708No other qualified rides.
