The 136th Silver Spurs Rodeo kicks off with Monster Bulls, February 13-21 in Kissimmee

Kissimmee, Fla. (January 8, 2015) – The Silver Spurs Club announces its 5th Annual Monster Bulls event on February 13th at 7:30pm, and the 136th Silver Spurs Rodeo on February 19th and 20th at 7:30pm and February 21st at 2pm. Real rodeo cowboys and cowgirls will be holding on for the ride of their lives as they compete against the clock for an entire year of bragging rights and $70,000 in prize money.Kicking off rodeo week on Saturday, February 13th is the 5th Annual Monster Bulls competition. The show starts at 7:30pm and these cowboys will try their skills on some of the country’s most unpredictable livestock in front of thousands. If you're looking for extreme sports, our Monster Bulls event is expected to be action-packed! This year, the Silver Spurs organization will donate $1 for every ticket sold to the Florida Hospital Foundation to be used for breast cancer research, treatment and support, so we’ve dubbed this event “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” night. The 136th Silver Spurs Rodeo performances will benefit the Howard Phillips Center for Children & Families. These performances will feature bull riding, bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, barrel racing, tie-down roping, team roping, and steer wrestling. The largest rodeo east of the Mississippi is the work of the Silver Spurs Club, an all-volunteer, non-profit organization started in 1941 by Osceola County ranchers who began the rodeo in 1944, selling war bonds as admission to raise funds for our military.Your Monster Bulls and Silver Spurs Rodeo ticket purchases include admission to the Osceola County Fair, which runs from February 13th through the 22nd and is adjacent to the Silver Spurs Arena.
