A fourth generation Osceola County resident Ms. Ryleigh Tyson of St. Cloud was crowned the 2008 Little Miss Silver Spurs during last night’s pageant held at the Silver Spurs Arena.

The Little Miss Silver Spurs Pageant, a tradition since 1974, is still one of the most popular shows in town.  Family, friends and spectators gathered to watch nineteen adorable little girls make one memorable evening.

Ryleigh Tyson is 9 years old, attends Hickory Tree Elementary School and enjoys cheerleading, gymnastics and playing outside. “I was surprised and excited when they called #19, my contestant number”, exclaimed the new queen.  Ryleigh is the daughter of Clay and Teri Tyson and has a big brother named Ashton.

Serving on this year’s court includes; 1st Runner-Up Kaitley Shirah, 2nd Runner-Up Kyndall Brown, Ms. Congeniality Katie Solomon and Photogenic Alicia Cordero.
